Digital ExtensionThe Siemens OptiPoint 500 Basic telephone is a digital telephone that will only work on a digital extension on the Siemens Hipath or Hicom system. The extension has got to be set up for one of the OptiPoint 500 range as the telephone will not work on any other type of connection.OptiPoint with Adapter InterfaceThe Siemens OptiPoint 500 Basic system phone has all the same features as the OptiPoint Entry telephone but is also has the adapter Interface. This allows the user to add the extra key modules that are available for the OptiPoint 500 range. The interface on the Siemens OptiPoint 500 Basic system phone will allow two extra devices to connect in total. This can be two extra key panels or a key panel and signature module.12 Programmable KeysThe Siemens OptiPoint 500 Basic system phone has 12 keys that can be programmed with things such as other extensions on the system. It stops the user having to press multiple buttons to do an action when pressing this button once will do the same. Also the LED lights on these buttons will show the user if any of these are already in use.3 Dialog KeysThere are 3 navigation keys at the bottom of the Siemens Optipoint 500 Basic system telephone as well which make it easier to be able to scroll through the menus. nbspnbspnbsp
