It wonrsquot work on a standard telephone line or traditional telephone system extension. This is because it needs to be connected to a network and allocated its own IP address. The Ericsson Dialog 4425 IP telephone is the only other IP phone in this range that has a higher specification. However the Ericsson Dialog 4422 IP does have a large amount of capabilities and is suitable for most office environments.
